Aloha Service Labbers!

We are excited to kickstart the new year with a fantastic event focused on designing within charities.

We have got a whole bunch of brilliant speakers from across the industry to come and share what’s been working well for them, what challenges they face and share some tips and tricks. We will have speakers from Macmillian, Girl Guides, Mind, Shelter, British Red Cross, Citizens Advice, Parkinsons and possibly even a few more!

To make the most out of having such a wonderful array of speakers we will be structuring the event slightly differently - there will be small breakout groups focused on specific themes for you to choose from. These could be things like ‘lessons learned from embedding design patterns’ to ‘breaking down the barriers of involving hard to reach user groups’. We will be sharing more about these themes over the next few weeks!

📅 Agenda 6:00pm Food, drinks, and networking 6:30pm Welcome and speaker presentations 7:30pm Assemble into groups for co-creative ideation 8:15pm Present findings 8:30pm Wrap up, drinks, and networking 9:00pm Finish

YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEAVE WITH: - An interdisciplinary understanding of the importance of unlearning - A crowdsourced collection of anecdotal experiences related to unlearning - A co-created set of principles and/or reflections on how to apply unlearning in our various practices and pedagogies - The Unlearning Jam Canvas designed in collaboration with Enrol Yourself, ELTjam, and Radicational
